Sarah Soule & Associates

Our services begin with an informal meeting with a student and his or her parents. We interview the student and learn about his or her personal strengths and goals. We review academic credentials and standardized testing scores and discuss the student's individual skills, talents and interests. After careful assessment and with considerable thoughtful consideration, we will discuss options and make specific recommendations about appropriate boarding schools or colleges for the student to consider. The most important thing in the admissions process and the core of Sarah Soule's professional beliefs and experience is to make the most appropriate fit and best match for the student, both in the academic and social settings. Each year, Sarah visits numerous schools and colleges across the country and these visits have served her very well in making her recommendations to her clients.

Each year, more and more students are pursuing 'gap year' experiences before entering college. Sarah has extensive knowledge in this arena and has worked with numerous clients who have taken a year off prior to entering college. She has assisted clients with both the search for an appropriate gap year program and the college search. This is a growing area of her educational consulting practice.

We will discuss the interview and help students know what to expect during this important part of the admissions process. We will review what it takes to make their individual application special and will assist in the overall admission process. Finally, when it is time to make the important decision as to where to ultimately attend college, Sarah will be there to help weigh the options and consider them with the client.
